Scripture affirms that Christ’s resurrection is the cornerstone of our faith. If it did not happen, we might as well throw away our Bibles and walk away from the faith (1 Cor 15:14). But it did happen. The resurrection shouts to us from the historical record. The first book is NT Wright’s 800-page magnus opus entitled The Resurrection of the Son of God. I give this book my highest recommendation. The second book is Michael Licona’s book entitled The Resurrection of Jesus: A New Historiographical Approach. Both of these books are world-class works of apologetics.
