Jesus Christ claimed to be truth incarnate (John 14:6). He also claimed that the truth (his truth) would set us free (John 8:32). Truth reflects reality. How do we know something is true? Because it exists in reality. This video shows what happens when you divorce truth from reality – you end up with destructive nihilism. Ideas have consequences. Bad ideas incur catastrophic consequences.
Peter Boghossian, James Lindsay, and Bret Weinstein reveal how American academia has transformed from a truth-seeking institution into an engine of ideological absurdity and mob enforcement. The Grievance Studies Affair—in which hoax papers on topics like “fat bodybuilding” sailed through peer review because they affirmed the approved narrative—and the Evergreen State College meltdown, where students mobbed professor Bret Weinstein for objecting to racial segregation while administrators surrendered control of the campus, show how deep the rot runs through our universities. Once speech is treated as violence and debate is replaced by fear, academic culture slides from intellectual capture into outright radicalization, where conformity is rewarded, disagreement is forbidden, and truth is no longer a constraint.
