One response to “The Baptism In The Holy Spirit”

  1. The only time in the Bible that gifts of the Holy Spirit were present is on the Day of Pentecost and thereafter, only when the Apostles we present and laid hands on people so they could receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. If the gifts were truly present today, why are Christian healers going to hospitals and healing the sick. Why are their not spontaneous gift where people speak in tongues so others, who speak different languages, can understand them. Why would God give you the gift of tongues to speak to him in prayer? God knows your heart. He knows your praters before you speak them. The gifts were given to help establish the early church and give credence to the early Christian teachers.
