The EndGame For Transgender Insanity
In the analysis of any worldview, one of the primary considerations is to follow its understanding of reality to its logical conclusion. In other words, what is the “endgame”? The endgame for nihilism is despair, mental illness and ultimately . . . destruction . . . in the maximum sense of the word.
In the 1960s and 70s, this country began the process of “deinstitutionalization” that involved shuttering mental institutions and releasing patients with powerful psychotropic drugs. As a result, homelessness and drug addiction skyrocketed. Tragically, many of those sucked into transgenderism end up homeless, although the medical system will continue to “treat” them, often providing both “free” surgery and drug cocktails. While there may be no financial cost to the individual because of insurance and powerful financial incentives for hospitals to play Dr. Frankenstein, the cost to the individual is loss of identity . . . which ultimately manifests as loss of any meaning in life (nihilism.)
For those who regain some level of sanity, there is the possibility of “detransitioning” back to their biological gender. While there are resources to help one detransition, unfortunately they will live with lifetime consequences of any chemical or surgical transgender treatment they may have had.
Transgender chemical and/or surgical “treament” is a one-way street to depression and meaninglessness. Some tragically end up at the ultimate form of self destruction-suicide. A study from the Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law finds that a shocking 81% of transgender adults in the U.S. have thought about suicide, 42% of transgender adults have attempted it, and 56% have engaged in non-suicidal self-injury over their lifetimes. This is the nightmarish end game for those trapped in the horror of transgenderism.
But in the midst of the ink-black darkness of nihilistic transgenderism, the Creator offers light and a way out. God offers freedom from the nightmare of transgenderism. We find the key in 2 Cor 5:17 – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come!”
The gospel (literally “good news”) is that Jesus Christ can restore the fractured relationship with God that everyone has. Everyone without exception, not just transgender people, is in desperate need of forgiveness and a re-creation. I’m not talking about physical re-creation (that is yet to come in our bodily resurrection at the return of Christ) but something more important and more difficult. And it is something that only the Creator can do. It is infinitely beyond anything any doctor can do. When God created mankind in the beginning, he literally “breathed” life into him; Gen 2:7 – “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” The result was the crowning achievement of creation and the pinnacle of God’s handiwork: men and women. “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them (Gen 1:27)”
There is absolutely nothing anyone can do to earn this miracle or re-creation. But if we humbly exercise repentant faith and ask Christ to forgive us, the Holy Spirit (who is God almighty, himself) indwells us and everything is made new. Please read this link for an explanation of the gospel to understand it. The power of Christ transcends anything man can do. Jesus said we must be “born again” to enter Heaven. John 3:3 – “Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” If you want your life to be changed forever and be “born again”, pray this simple prayer from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I acknowledge my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. Please cleanse my heart and help me to turn away from my wrongdoing. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sin and rose from the dead to impart new and eternal life to me. Empower me with your indwelling Holy Spirit. Change me. Amen.”
If you say this prayer from your heart, your life will be changed forever. Get a Bible in a modern translation that you can understand (the New International Version [NIV] is excellent) and start by reading the gospel of John in the New Testament. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
In closing, I leave you with this video. God bless you.
