I came across an online rant complaining about the policies of the current administration that seek to restore some semblance of sanity. I will not include a link to it because it is filled with vulgar profanity. One thing jumped out at me——at the bottom is the interesting assertion that “God is real and He hates us.” This admission reveals far more about the author than his/her virtual meltdown.

Paul is explicit in Romans that everyone has knowledge of the existence of God although many choose to suppress this knowledge (Rom 1:18-20). I’ve always been amused that atheists who vociferously proclaim that there is no God, regularly take his name in vain. That makes about as much sense as say . . . using a “Unicorn” for profanity. In fact, their use of God in their reflex profanity indicates that they do in fact do know that God exists. For one brief moment, that innate knowledge manifests.
