There is a report here of a man who slipped abortion pills to his unknowing, pregnant girlfriend who subsequently suffered a miscarriage. Officials are now charging him with homicide. I see this from time to time. I remember the case a while ago of a man who shot a pregnant woman, killing both her and her unborn child. He was subsequently charged with two counts of murder. Civic officals are occasionally forced to recognize an inconvenient truth – what really happens with abortion. As reported, “If the victim had taken the same pills on her own, abortion advocates would have called it “bodily autonomy.” But because Evans gave her the pills, the state now says it was homicide.”

As I noted earlier, the Marquis de Sade, who publicly affirmed abortion and ironically originated the same arguments used today by pro-abortion advocates, was at least honest enough to admit that abortion is murder, and with which he had no qualms. He spent 1/3 of his life incarcerated and died in a lunatic asylum. While abortionists and pro-abortion advocates willfully suppress the knowledge that they are engaging in full-scale murder, civic officials are forced to occasionally recognize what is really at stake and happening. Pro-abortion advocates are notably silent when people are charged with homicide for killing an unborn child; they suppress this inconvenient truth. But it is a festering evil within their heart that, barring repentance, will ultimately haunt and destroy them. Christ alone can free them.

Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work? (Prov 24:11-12)
