The resurrection of Christ is the center of my apologetics. While I incorporate multiple other areas into my apologetics (i.e., classical, evidential, cultural, ecclesial, expository apologetics; the reliability of the NT manuscripts, the problem of evil, ethics, transcendent arguments from beauty, morality, etc.), those are all peripheral issues that I use to ultimately point to the resurrection. The early church made the resurrection the focus of their message to a surrounding hostile, pagan culture. In fact, it was a powerful apology for the resurrection that opened my eyes and heart 51 years ago to the truth and power of the gospel. Timothy Paul Jones argues in this video that the resurrection must be the center of our apologetics.
