This video is so sad. A 19-year old girl who is homeless and addicted to drugs is caught shoplifting. When the police arrest her she starts crying for her “mommy” and that she “wants to go home” (which she doesn’t have as a homeless person). There are so many people like her in this fallen world who are in desperate need of the love of Christ and the saving grace of the gospel. An apologist must never view the lost as “challenges” but as figurative drowning victims in need of a saving hand. If your reaction to this video is like many of the responding comments that mock her, and this video doesn’t break your heart, the Holy Spirit needs to chip the ice off your heart and fill you with His love. Forget about apologetics for a while and embrace the love of Christ. If love is not your motivation, you have missed the boat.
