The extent of Noah’s Flood is controversial. Was it a local flood or a catastrophic global deluge? While respected Christians such as Gavin Ortlund and Hugh Ross argue for a catastrophic local flood, I understand (with many others) that Scripture clearly portrays a cataclysmic global flood.
