John MacArthur has a masterful exposition here of the wrath of God that is presented in Romans 1:18-32. It is the wrath of abandonment that God exercises by taking his hand off a culture and letting them go their own way. At the age of 73 now, I agree with MacArthur’s assessment, having experienced the increasing and incessant degradation of our culture in the previous six decades. Our culture incessantly invents new ways for doing evil (Rom 1:30). This is why I argue we have passed the point of no return and judgment is inevitable.
