“the director is again challenging accepted precepts of faith and singular belief in a supreme being“
Read about it here.
Why am I not surprised? As one of the commenters wrote, “It is annoying (but not unexpected) when a non-Christian attempts to tell Christians what they believe.” For the most part, Hollywood is a moral cesspool residing in a make-believe, fantasy world that aggresively seeks to quickly decontruct anyone’s genuine faith which challenges their nihilistic worldview. After watching Hollywood for more than 5 decades now and seeing its inevitable corrosive effect on those that seek its spotlight of manufactured prestige, I’m convinced one of the worst and most destructive aspirations one can harbor is to move to Hollywood and become a “celebrity.” That why Mel Gibson (and others) wisely left.
One commenter made a profound observation – “The only thing Christians will be doubting is why they paid so much for a ticket?”
