I have been fascinated by the Shroud of Turin for years, purported to be the burial shroud of Christ. Through the years, as the evidence mounted and science was unable to explain how the image was produced, I slowly moved from a position of skepticism to one of belief that the Shroud is indeed the burial cloth of Christ. Paolo Di Lazzaro, a physicist who has studied the Shroud of Turin estimates that the mysterious image on the Shroud of Turn (not produced by paint, dye or any known effect) was caused by 34,000 billion watts of energy that happened in 1/40 of a billionth of a second, classifying it as a nuclear event. I think the evidence is overwhelming that the Shroud of Turin is the authentic burial shroud of Christ.
