Arizona is following Massachusetts into a death spiral. Seth Troutt records here the impact of a new bill wherein “Arizona clears away hurdles to allow, functionally, abortion in almost every circumstance.”
“The passing of that amendment gave Arizona one of the most radical abortion laws in the entire world. Previously, the state had dozens of common-sense restrictions on abortion on the books that were doomed the day the proposition passed.“
The bill echoes Margaret Sanger’s (founder of Planned Parenthood) dream, espousing classic eugenics. Troutt is correct that “The claim that “politics is downstream from culture” is true, and our culture is as Darwinian as it’s ever been. Not only will the strong eat the weak, but they will not even be inconvenienced by them. “
There is now no ethical difference between our culture and ancient Judah who practiced child sacrfice to Molech by roasting their children alive. The cult of Moloch is said to have boiled children alive in the bowels of a big, bronze statue with the body of a man and the head of a bull. As a result Judah fell under God’s judgment as Jerusalem was destroyed by the Babylonians and the survivors went into exile.
Just as judgment awaited Judah, so too is judgment on the horion for the United States. I argue that it is now past the point-of-no-return . . . the best we can hope for is a Josiah-like figure (the last godly king of Judah) to arise and delay inevitable judgment.
But judgment is surely coming.
