If someone had told me 50 years ago how seriously the intellectual capacity of the country’s population would diminish in 5 decades, I would have laughed and deemed it impossible. Christianity has always emphasized education – i.e., America’s Ivy League Schools were all originally founded as seminaries. Why have we morphed into “idiocracy” when we have such powerful tools as the internet providing access to information heretofore previously unavailable? On a related note, one can make the argument that AI dangerously detours its consumer from cultivating Biblical wisdom, a skill which is only acquired through time by immersing oneself into the Biblical worldview. “Shortcuts” are the guaranteed route to idiocracy.
